Attraction Point 1

Getting even closer to earless seals at the tubular pool!

The first thing that will draw the eye of visitors to the Marine Animals Zone is the large tubular pool shaped like a large tin can. The tubular pool is actually connected to the adjacent pool under the floor, so spotted seals are free to come and go as they wish. The spotted seals pop up into the tubular pool as if they are flying through the air. If you keep a close eye on this pool, you might make eye contact with an earless seal!

Attraction Point 2

An earless seal’s face may pop up and you can make eye contact

From the deck, visitors can enjoy watching the unique expression of an earless seal as it peeps up above the surface of the water. This enables a close look at the seals, providing a different spectacle to when they are swimming through the water.
